Description

This automatic punch has been designed to mark a central point, to later drill with a bit so that it is centered on the workpiece. It performs the same task as a normal punch, but without the need for a hammer.

When you press the punch into the workpiece, it stores energy. It then releases this energy to produce the mark on the workpiece with the sharp point. The momentum provided to the tip of the punch is fairly easy to replicate, allowing even marks to be made. As it has been designed to be long enough, it is easy to use.
